Tour description
This tour is a perfect combination of wine and culture as you will explore one of the most beautiful towns in the region and taste some excellent wines produced in the Lison-Pramaggiore wine district in east Veneto. We'll pick you up directly at Piazzale Roma in Venice and head towards Treviso, a charming city full of medieval and Renaissance elements that give it a flavour of old times. The interlacement of canals and inland waterways soon remind you of Venice while the city centre, full of shops and elegant boutiques, displays the results of the rich Veneto industry. We'll take a pleasant stroll along the little streets of the historical centre to discover the most suggestive corners and monuments of this enchanting water city: Piazza dei Signori and Palazzo dei Trecento, Calmaggiore, the Buranelli canal, Loggia dei Cavalieri, Palazzo dei Carraresi and the fish market. In the old "osterias" of the city centre it is possible to stop for a "Spritz", a typical aperitif made with Prosecco wine, accompanied with local appetizers and snacks. We'll then continue our tour along the "Dogi's wine road" to reach the Lison-Pramaggiore wine area, where we'll visit a winery and taste some excellent wines in the elegant ambiance of an ancient Venetian villa.
