Tour description
You will be picked up from your accommodation in Trieste at 9.00 a.m. and transferred to Malchina to start an active day out exploring the lovely natural environment of the Carso plateau by mountain bike. We'll use 24-gear, good-quality bikes and follow bike paths and ancient by-roads in the middle of an enchanting landscape only a few kilometres from the city. We'll pause for a light lunch in a typical osmizza before continuing 20-mile bike ride in scenery of stunning beauty, great historical interest, major natural attractions and unforgettable panoramas. There are options for longer routes so you can cycle as much as you want according to your level of fitness and your personal requirements.
